A movement to end hate edit

World Without Hate

We use the power of personal narrative and empathy education to prevent and disrupt hate and violence.

Hate breaks.

Two stories at the heart of the work — a survivor's choice, and the film that grew from it.

“Once you get to know the other, it's hard for you to hate them.”
— Rais Bhuiyan, Founder & President

Our why

Hate grows in darkness.
Empathy thrives in the light.

Before 9/11, Rais didn't stand out as “other.” After the attacks he was labeled a terrorist and a threat. Years later, when his attacker came to know him, he called him brother.

Rais Bhuiyan speaking
“Each of us has the capacity to turn hate into love — a world without violence, without victims.”
— Rais Bhuiyan
